Tawafeen Sdn Bhd (TSB) is a 100% Bumiputra-owned company with roots tracing back to the mid-1990s. Originally established as Jangkaun Ehsan Sdn Bhd, the organisation has evolved into a multi-sector platform shaped by engineering discipline, technical excellence, and long-term
strategic thinking.
Our foundation was built within highly regulated industrial environments, supporting research, development, and process implementation across pharmaceutical and fine chemical sectors. These formative years established a culture of precision, compliance, and technical integrity that continues to define our work today.
Today, TSB has expanded beyond consultancy into structured operational platforms. We bridge the gap between technical potential and industrial reality through four specialized domains and nine synchronized systems:

About Us
TAWAFEEN SDN BHD (TSB) or previously known as Jangkaun Ehsan Sdn Bhd has been servicing the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic and fine chemical industries since mid 1990. In the early period of businesses, dissemination of technical information i.e. new inventions, methods of applications and R&D related matters was the main priority in business due to keen interest and support from many leading manufactures locally and regionally in the abovementioned industries. Today, TSB extends its services in the formulation, designing, supplying and facilitating the needed line of equipment and related technology with priority focused on R&D and in the enhancement of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). In 1999, TSB a fully owned Bumiputra entity, started participating in the agricultural sector. TSB with the assistance from its associates started formulating liquid fertilizers. Though, it was a bold move as the market was dominated by dry (fertilizers termed ‘after extensive test trials and many modifications to its formulation, today TSB manufactures and markets its own liquid fertilizer. This positive development and the already acquired knowledge on machinery, processes and in applications and via joint programmes with research institution (FRIM, RRI, MARDI and a few to be named here) TSB is able to provide a complete package in tendem with GAP (Good Agricultural Practices), GCP (Good Collection Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
In year 2001-2006, was the most challenging for TSB, where it took the challenged to participate in the Design and Build of the Herbal Technology Centre for Forest Research Institute of Malaysia ( TSB was also entrusted with task to custom design the line of equipment and in the testing and commissioning of the same .This is complement with the fact that TSB is already a registered contractor with the Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor with a Kelas C Bumiputra Contractor status and also has a G4 license with the Construction Industries Development Board TSB is also registered with Ministry of Finance, Malaysia and has been an active member with the Dewan Perniagaan Melayu Malaysia (WP)
Hence, in 2006 the facility was approved fit for operations by the FDA of Malaysia and now is licensed to manufacture liquids, slurry and dry granules for the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic and for the extraction of API (active pharmaceutical ingredients) in Compliance with GMP requirements.
In year 2007-2008, the board of directors decided to venture into construction and power generation (alternative power generation).
